The Schneider Electric A9D17213 is an Acti9 iC60 RCBO — a combined residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, in a 2-pole (2P) form factor. It integrates both thermal-magnetic overcurrent tripping and 30 mA earth-leakage detection into a single 36 mm wide module that clips onto a DIN rail. The 13 A rating and 30 mA leakage sensitivity make this a go-to for final subcircuits in distribution boards: socket outlets, small appliance circuits, or lighting final circuits where personnel protection against indirect contact is required.
Rated breaking capacity is 10 kA Icn at 220...240 V AC 50 Hz per EN/IEC 61009-2-1, with an ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) of 15 kA at the same voltage per EN/IEC 60947-2. The higher Icu figure gives headroom for coordination studies; if the upstream device limits the prospective fault current below 15 kA, this RCBO can handle the let-through without losing its integrity.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail — standard 35 mm symmetrical rail. Connection pitch is 9 mm between poles, which aligns with the busbar system for the Acti9 range. The toggle provides local signalling: ON, OFF, and fault-trip positions are clearly indicated. IP40 in a distribution enclosure, IP20 otherwise — so it's not rated for washdown environments; keep it inside a panel.
