It protects a 1P+N final subcircuit at 20 A rated current (thermal-magnetic trip, curve B) with integrated 30 mA earth-leakage sensing.
The 30 mA earth-leakage threshold provides personnel protection (additional to the basic insulation) and is the standard sensitivity for socket-outlet circuits in TN earthing systems. The 10 kA Icn at 240 V AC is the rated short-circuit capacity; the limitation class 3 means the let-through energy is low enough to protect downstream equipment in a coordinated distribution board. Thermal-magnetic trip technology gives a time-delayed overload response (thermal bimetal) and instantaneous short-circuit response (magnetic solenoid) in one unit.
Integration notes
Tightening torque: 3.5 N·m top, 2 N·m bottom. Wire strip length: 14 mm top, 13 mm bottom. The toggle provides local ON/OFF indication; the unit can be padlocked (Ø 4 mm padlock) for lockout/tagout.
