What This RCBO Does for the Panel
The Schneider Electric A9D47210 is an Acti9 iC60 RCBO — a combined 2-pole residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection, rated 10 A with 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity. It is designed for distribution outgoer circuits in commercial and industrial panels, mounted via clip-on onto DIN rail. The B-curve magnetic trip operates at 3 to 5 times In (30 to 50 A), which holds takt time on motor-start and general-load circuits where short inrush is expected but nuisance tripping must be avoided. Breaking capacity is 10 kA Icn per EN/IEC 61009-2-1 at 220...240 V AC, 50 Hz, with an ultimate Icu of 15 kA per EN/IEC 60947-2 — so it interrupts line faults up to that level without cascading upstream.
Depth is 78 mm, height 86 mm. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1...35 mm² rigid or 1...25 mm² flexible cable; strip length 12 mm, torque to 2 N.m. IP40 in a distribution enclosure, IP20 at the terminals. The local signalling — ON, OFF, fault trip — gives the commissioning engineer a quick visual on the outgoer without reaching for a meter.
