The 1P+N format (single protected pole, switched neutral) clips onto DIN rail and occupies 4 × 9 mm pitch modules — 36 mm wide. Toggle control gives local ON/OFF/fault-trip indication.
That's standard for final subcircuits in residential and light commercial boards; for higher fault levels (e.g., near the service entrance) you'd step up to a 15 or 25 kA rated MCB/RCCB upstream. C-curve (5–10× In magnetic trip) means the instantaneous trip fires between 125 A and 250 A for this 25 A unit. That's the typical choice for general-purpose socket outlets and lighting circuits where inrush from small motors or capacitive loads stays below the threshold. A D-curve would be needed for heavy motor or transformer loads. 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity is a common setting for protection against fire risk from persistent leakage (e.g., in circuits supplying fixed equipment, heaters, or distribution sub-mains). It is not a 30 mA personnel-protection device — if you need shock protection for socket outlets, you'd use a 30 mA RCD upstream or a different iDPN Vigi variant. That's the best energy-limiting class for an RCBO of this type. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60364) and overvoltage category III mean the device is rated for fixed installations where transient overvoltages from the mains (e.g., switching surges) are expected — typical for distribution boards in buildings. Not for outdoor or wet locations without additional enclosure protection.
Mounting and wiring — what fits
Clip-on to DIN rail (EN 60715). The 36 mm width (4 modules) is standard for 1P+N RCBOs in the Acti9 range. Depth 73 mm, height 85 mm — check enclosure depth if using shallow consumer units. Terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid, 1–10 mm² flexible, or 1–10 mm² flexible with ferrule. Tightening torque 2 N·m. Strip length 15 mm. Single terminal top or bottom — no loop-through or daisy-chain on the same terminal. IP20 (fingertip-safe) per IEC 60529; IP40 inside a modular enclosure. Not washdown-rated — keep dry.
