Rated 20 A with a 6 kA breaking capacity at 230…240 V AC, 50 Hz, it uses a B-curve trip characteristic (3…5 × In magnetic threshold) and a 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity.
That covers most domestic and light-commercial service-entrance levels; if your prospective short-circuit current exceeds that, you'll need a current-limiting upstream MCB or a higher-rated device. The 300 mA residual-current sensitivity is a personnel-protection threshold — it trips on leakage above that level, which is typical for general-purpose socket-outlet circuits where 30 mA would be too sensitive for the connected loads.
The 9 mm phase-to-neutral pitch matches the Acti9 busbar system, so you can feed a row of these RCBOs with a pre-wired comb busbar without extra jumpers. Terminals accept 1…16 mm² rigid or 1…10 mm² flexible, with a 2 N·m tightening torque and 15 mm strip length. IP20 on the body, IP40 inside the modular enclosure — fine for a distribution board, but not for wet environments.
