The 6 A rated current (In) governs the continuous load the RCBO can carry without tripping thermally — sized for a 1.5 mm² or 2.5 mm² final subcircuit, not a feeder. The C-curve (5 to 10 x In) means magnetic tripping occurs between 30 A and 60 A, which suits circuits with moderate inrush like small motors or fluorescent ballasts; a B-curve would trip faster on those loads, a D-curve slower. The 30 mA earth-leakage threshold provides personnel protection (30 mA is the standard for shock risk per IEC 60364) and is integrated into the same 36 mm wide module — no separate RCCB needed upstream for that branch. The thermal-magnetic trip technology is the standard dual-element approach — thermal bimetal for overload, solenoid for short-circuit.
Neutral on the left, phase on the right — the 9 mm connection pitch between phase and neutral matches standard Acti9 busbar spacing. Tunnel terminals accept 1 to 16 mm² rigid or 1 to 10 mm² flexible; strip length 14 mm, torque to 2 N·m. IP20 on the body (finger-safe), IP40 inside the modular enclosure — fine for a distribution board, not for washdown.
