D curve and selectivity
The D curve means the magnetic trip fires between 10× and 20× In — 200 A to 400 A for this 20 A unit. That suits circuits with high inrush: motor starters, small transformers, discharge lighting. On a TN earthing system, the 10 kA Icn at 400/415 V gives enough fault-clearing headroom for most sub-distribution boards. The limitation class 3 rating means it lets through limited let-through energy during a short-circuit, which helps downstream coordination.
Clip-on mounting onto a DIN rail or chassis. Screw-clamp terminals accept 1–25 mm² rigid or 1–16 mm² flexible at the top, 1–25 mm² rigid at the bottom. Stripping length is 11 mm for bottom and 14 mm for top connections. Tightening torque is 2.5 N.m for both. The toggle control gives local ON/OFF indication. Padlockable with a Ø 4 mm padlock or lead seal for lockout/tagout.
Rated IP20 — protected against solid objects over 12 mm, not against moisture. Complies with AS/NZS 61009.1, IEC 61009-1, and IEC 61009-2-2.
