The Schneider Electric A9DF8606 is an Acti9 iCV40 residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) — a single module that combines a 6 A thermal-magnetic MCB with a 300 mA earth-leakage detector. It protects final circuits against overload, short-circuit (C-curve, magnetic trip 5–10 × In), and ground faults, all in one 36 mm-wide, 1P+N package that clips onto a DIN rail. The C-curve means it holds through moderate inrush (motors, transformers, LED drivers) and trips fast on hard shorts.

The 300 mA earth-leakage threshold is a ground-fault level for fixed equipment. Thermal-magnetic trip means the bimetal handles sustained overloads (slow, heat-based) and the solenoid handles short-circuits (instantaneous above 5–10 × In).

Tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible cable; tighten to 2 N·m.
