The 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity is a fixed sensitivity — suitable for circuits where nuisance tripping from leakage in long cable runs or equipment filters must be avoided, but not for personal shock protection (which requires 30 mA or lower). The thermal-magnetic trip unit gives a standard inverse-time characteristic for overloads and instantaneous magnetic release for shorts. The C-curve is the most common for general-purpose distribution in Europe and Asia — it holds up to 5–10 × In before the magnetic element trips, which avoids nuisance trips on moderate motor or transformer inrush while still clearing hard faults quickly.
Deployment context
The tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible, with a tightening torque of 2 N·m and a strip length of 14 mm. The 85 mm height and 73 mm depth fit standard modular enclosure cutouts.
