The Schneider Electric A9DF8625 is a 25 A RCBO from the Acti9 iCV40H series — a combined overcurrent and residual-current device in a single 36 mm wide (4-module) package. Integrated 300 mA earth-leakage protection covers ground-fault detection in the same unit, saving a DIN slot versus a separate RCCB. Mounts via clip-on to a standard DIN rail (EN 60715). Tunnel terminals accept 1 to 16 mm² rigid or 1 to 10 mm² flexible cable; tighten to 2 N·m. Stripping length is 14 mm.
Compliance documentation includes VDE and EAC quality labels. The RCBO is designed to EN/IEC 61009-2-1 (residual current operated circuit-breakers with integral overcurrent protection) and carries limitation class 3 for energy-limiting performance under fault conditions.
Integration into the distribution board
Occupies 4 modules (36 mm) on the DIN rail. The IP20 rating applies to the front of the device; IP40 applies when enclosed in a modular enclosure. Operating altitude is limited to 2000 m without derating. Rated for 50/60 Hz AC networks only. The thermal-magnetic trip unit provides both overload (thermal bimetal) and short-circuit (magnetic coil) protection. Electrical and mechanical durability are both rated at 20,000 cycles.
