The 36 kA Icu at 12–133 V AC and 20 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC (per EN/IEC 60947-2) give this breaker headroom for high-fault industrial panels where the upstream transformer can deliver substantial short-circuit current. At 380–415 V AC the Icu drops to 10 kA, and at 440 V AC to 6 kA — still adequate for most European 400 V distribution boards.
