32 A C-curve MCB for distribution boards
The Schneider A9F04432 is an Acti9 iC60N miniature circuit-breaker rated 32 A with a C-curve magnetic trip at 8 x In (+/- 20 %). Four poles, thermal-magnetic trip unit, DIN-rail mount. Dual-rated to EN/IEC 60947-2 (Category A) and EN/IEC 60898-1, so it carries both the industrial and residential certification — useful when the same BOM feeds panel builds and final distribution boards.
Breaking capacity follows the voltage: 36 kA Icu at 12–133 V AC, 20 kA at 220–240 V, 10 kA at 380–415 V, 6 kA at 440 V (all per EN/IEC 60947-2). The IEC 60898-1 rating is 10 kA Icn at 400 V AC — that's the number most distribution specs will reference. Overvoltage category IV, pollution degree 3, so it's rated for the mains entry, not just sub-distribution.
Lifecycle stage is current — no NRND or phase-out signal on this order code. The Acti9 iC60 series is Schneider's mainstream MCB line; the A9F04432 is an active catalog number.
Mounts on DIN rail, 9 mm pitches: 8 modules wide (72 mm). Height 91 mm, depth 78.5 mm. Tightening torque 3.5 N·m. Wire strip length 14 mm. IP20 finger-safe. The white body with toggle and trip indicator makes visual status checks fast during commissioning or fault-finding.
