The Schneider Electric A9F05320 is a 3-pole Acti9 iC60N miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A with a D tripping curve. The 20 A rating and 3 poles make it a distribution-level breaker for a three-phase subfeed, not a final branch circuit for socket outlets. Breaking capacity is rated per two standards: 36 kA Icu at 12-133 V AC and 20 kA Icu at 220-240 V AC under EN/IEC 60947-2, plus 10 kA Icn at 400 V AC under EN/IEC 60898-1. The 60947-2 rating governs industrial panel SCCR; the 60898-1 rating applies when the breaker is used in a residential or commercial final-distribution board. For a 400 V industrial panel, the 10 kA Icu at 380-415 V AC is the number that determines whether this breaker coordinates with the upstream fault level. Thermal-magnetic trip technology with a separate earth-leakage block (Vigi iC60) means the breaker itself provides overcurrent and short-circuit protection; residual-current protection is added by clipping an RCD block onto the same DIN-rail footprint. The contact position indicator and trip indicator give local visual status — useful during panel commissioning when the door is open.
Snap-on DIN-rail mount (EN/IEC 60715), 54 mm wide (6 x 9 mm pitches). The 78.5 mm depth and 91 mm height fit standard distribution board enclosures. IP20 finger-safe front — suitable for enclosed panels, not for outdoor or washdown locations.
