What the 63 A B-curve rating means for your panel
The A9F06163 is a 1-pole Acti9 iC60H miniature circuit breaker rated 63 A with a B-curve trip characteristic — magnetic tripping at 4 x In (±20 %), so it clears short-circuits between 252 A and 302 A. The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles the overload side; the magnetic element handles the short-circuit side. It's dual-rated to EN/IEC 60947-2 (utilisation category A) and EN/IEC 60898-1, so it can serve either distribution board or industrial panel duty — the 60947-2 rating gives you the higher breaking capacities for industrial coordination studies.
Breaking capacity — the number that governs fault coordination
