13 A, 2-pole C-curve MCB for distribution boards
The Schneider Electric A9F07213 is an Acti9 iC60H miniature circuit breaker rated at 13 A with a C-curve trip characteristic, covering 2 protected poles in a 36 mm wide DIN-rail housing. The thermal-magnetic trip unit gives you both overload protection (bimetal strip) and short-circuit protection (solenoid) in one package. Breaking capacity is the headline here: 42 kA Icu at 12-133 V AC, 30 kA at 220-240 V AC, 15 kA at 380-415 V AC, and 10 kA at 440 V AC per EN/IEC 60947-2. That puts it in the high-breaking-capacity class (iC60H) — suitable for installation close to the transformer or in high-fault-current panels where standard 6 kA or 10 kA MCBs would need upstream fusing or a current-limiting breaker. The 15 kA Icn at 400 V per EN/IEC 60898-1 confirms it meets the domestic/commercial standard as well.
Dual standard certification and isolation suitability
This breaker carries dual certification to EN/IEC 60947-2 (industrial) and EN/IEC 60898-1 (domestic/commercial), which means it can be specified for either a panelboard in a factory or a distribution board in a building without swapping part numbers. The IP20 finger-safe front keeps live terminals out of reach on the panel face.
The toggle control gives a clear visual indication of the contact position, and the trip indicator shows when the breaker has tripped on fault — useful for troubleshooting without removing the panel cover.
