It's a 4-pole unit (4P) that protects all four poles, suited for distribution applications in final subcircuits where the inrush from small motor loads or capacitive loads needs a moderate delay before the magnetic trip — the C-curve's 8 x In +/- 20% magnetic tripping limit handles that. Breaking capacity is 70 kA Icu at 12...133 V AC, 70 kA at 220...240 V AC, and 70 kA at 380...415 V AC per EN/IEC 60947-2. At 440 V AC it holds 50 kA Icu.
Snaps onto a DIN rail — 9 mm pitch occupies 8 modules (72 mm wide). Height is 91 mm, depth 78.5 mm. The double terminals top and bottom accept 1...25 mm² rigid or 1...16 mm² flexible cable; tightening torque is 2 N·m.
Dual-rated to EN/IEC 60898-1 (the household-breaker standard) and EN/IEC 60947-2 (the industrial standard). That dual rating is what gives it the 10 kA Icn for domestic use and the 70 kA Icu for industrial coordination. Suitability for isolation is confirmed under both standards — the contact position indicator shows open/closed state visually.
