The Schneider A9F07616 is a 1P+N miniature circuit breaker from the Acti9 iC60H family, rated 16 A with a C-curve (magnetic trip at 8 x In +/- 20 %). It breaks up to 42 kA Icu at 12-60 V AC (30 kA at 100-133 V, 15 kA at 220-240 V) per EN/IEC 60947-2, and 10 kA Icn at 230 V per EN/IEC 60898-1. The 1P+N configuration switches the phase and switches the neutral (neutral left position), protecting one pole. The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overloads and short circuits; a separate earth-leakage block can be added for ground-fault protection.
The 42 kA Icu at 12-60 V AC is the interrupting capacity you need when the breaker sits close to a low-voltage high-current source — e.g., a 50 kVA transformer secondary. At 230/240 V the rating drops to 15 kA Icu (60947-2) and 10 kA Icn (60898-1); that still covers most commercial and light industrial distribution boards. The C-curve (8 x In) is standard for general-purpose loads — lighting, small motors, control transformers — where inrush is moderate.
