The Schneider Electric A9F08206 is an Acti9 iC60H miniature circuit breaker rated at 6 A with a D-curve trip characteristic, two protected poles, and a 42 kA breaking capacity at 12–133 V AC.
The 6 A continuous rating is the wire and load limit — this breaker protects a circuit drawing up to 6 A steady. The D-curve's 12 x In magnetic trip (72 A instantaneous) lets it ride through motor-start current without opening, but still clears a hard short fast. Breaking capacity of 42 kA Icu at 12–133 V AC drops to 30 kA at 220–240 V, 15 kA at 380–415 V, and 10 kA at 440 V — that's the maximum fault current it can safely interrupt at each voltage level. For a 400 V panel, the 15 kA Icu and 10 kA Icn (per EN/IEC 60898-1) give you solid headroom for most distribution boards. The 2-pole version switches both line and neutral, which matters for single-phase circuits where you want full isolation.
Height is 91 mm, depth 78.5 mm, so it fits a standard distribution board without surprises. Terminals accept 1–25 mm² rigid or 1–16 mm² flexible wire; strip length is 14 mm, torque to 2 N·m. IP20 rated, so it's for inside an enclosure — no washdown exposure. The toggle switch gives local on/off and a trip-indicator flag shows when it's tripped.
