The A9F08220 is a 20 A, D-curve miniature circuit breaker from the Schneider Electric Acti9 iC60H series, built for distribution boards where high inrush loads — motor starts, transformer primaries, capacitor banks — need a magnetic trip that holds past 12× In instead of the typical 5–10× of a C curve. That 12× In magnetic threshold ±20 % means it won't nuisance-trip on a motor's locked-rotor draw, but still clears a hard short fast. The 42 kA Icu at 12–133 V AC is the interrupting rating under IEC 60947-2; at 220–240 V it's still 30 kA, and at 380–415 V it's 15 kA. For the EN 60898-1 reference, the Icn is 10 kA at 400 V — the standard domestic/commercial rating. The 2-pole version protects both line conductors in a single-phase or split-phase circuit, with a separate earth-leakage block available if you need RCD integration. Mounts on DIN rail, 36 mm wide, 91 mm tall, 78.5 mm deep.
Dual-certified to EN/IEC 60947-2 (industrial) and EN/IEC 60898-1 (domestic/commercial). Overvoltage category IV, pollution degree 3, isolation suitability confirmed per both standards. IP20 finger-safe terminals.
Integration notes
Toggle control with trip indicator and contact position indicator. Electrical durability 10,000 cycles, mechanical 20,000 cycles.
