The A9F08306 is a Schneider Electric Acti9 iC60H miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with a D tripping curve, rated 6 A and 3 poles. That 6 A rating is the continuous current it carries in free air at 30 °C; on a DIN-rail panel with several breakers ganged, expect some thermal derating, but the iC60H design handles that well within the 20,000 mechanical cycles.
Breaking capacity and isolation
Breaking capacity is 42 kA Icu at 12-133 V AC and 30 kA at 220-240 V AC, dropping to 15 kA at 380-415 V AC and 10 kA at 440 V AC (per EN/IEC 60947-2). Under EN/IEC 60898-1 it's rated 10 kA Icn at 400 V AC. That 42 kA figure at low voltage matters for high-fault panels fed by a large transformer — the breaker stays intact and clears without upstream coordination. It's also certified for isolation (both standards), so it doubles as a visible disconnect when the toggle is off.
Mounts on a DIN rail, 54 mm wide (6 x 9 mm pitches), 91 mm tall, 78.5 mm deep — fits standard distribution boards and enclosure cutouts. Terminals accept 1-25 mm² rigid or 1-16 mm² flexible on both top and bottom, with a double-terminal design for daisy-chaining. IP20 rated, so it's for dry indoor panels only. The white housing with a trip-indicator window makes faulted-pole identification quick during troubleshooting.
