The Schneider Electric A9F68232 is an Acti9 iT60 miniature circuit-breaker (MCB) rated 32 A with a C curve, in a 2-pole (2P) configuration. Breaking capacity is rated per both standards: 36 kA Icu at 12–133 V AC, 20 kA at 220–240 V, 10 kA at 380–415 V, and 6 kA at 440 V under EN/IEC 60947-2, plus 10 kA Icn at 400 V under EN/IEC 60898-1. For a 32 A MCB on a 400 V supply, the 10 kA rating covers most secondary distribution panels with transformer-limited fault current. The dual certification means it qualifies for both industrial (60947-2) and residential/commercial (60898-1) applications — useful when a single BOM must satisfy both IEC worlds. Thermal-magnetic trip technology with Category A utilization (no intentional short-time delay) makes this a straightforward branch-circuit protector. The IP20 B finger-safe terminals accept up to 35 mm² rigid or 25 mm² flexible wire; tightening torque is 3.5 N.m.
Deployment context
The removable comb busbar allows daisy-chaining multiple MCBs in a row — typical for lighting, socket-outlet, or small-power circuits in commercial buildings and light industrial switchboards.
