Arc fault detection in a 1-module footprint
Curve B magnetic tripping operates between 3 and 5 times In, so it clears short-circuit faults quickly on resistive or lighting circuits where inrush is low.
The limitation class 3 (per IEC 60898-1) means it limits let-through energy under fault conditions — useful for protecting downstream wiring and loads. Pollution degree 2 covers normal indoor environments with only non-conductive contamination. The 1P+N configuration switches the phase and switches the neutral — the neutral is not protected but is disconnected on fault. Neutral position is left, cable entry top. The 9 mm pitch between phase and neutral matches the standard Acti9 busbar spacing.
Integration notes
Clip-on mounting on DIN rail, 36 mm width (2 modules of 18 mm each). Depth 72 mm, height 81 mm. The toggle provides local ON, OFF, and fault trip indication. Tropicalisation severity B per IEC 60068-2-30 for 28 days means it withstands humid heat cycling — suitable for non-air-conditioned electrical rooms.
