The Schneider Electric A9GSB592 is an Acti9 SBI fuse-disconnector, 1N pole, rated 125 A at 690 V AC per IEC EN 60947-3. It accepts 22 x 58 mm fuse links with a GG or AM curve — GG for general-purpose protection (cable and equipment), AM for motor-circuit back-up protection. The 1N configuration switches the line and neutral, with the neutral pole not fused.
Integration and Fit
Height is 126.5 mm, depth 70 mm — fits standard distribution board cutouts. Screw-clamp terminals accept 1.5 to 50 mm² rigid or 2.5 to 35 mm² flexible (with or without ferrule). Tightening torque is 4 N.m on top or bottom; strip length 12 mm.
The 125 A rated current is the maximum for this unit; the same housing also covers 32 A, 40 A, 50 A, 63 A, 80 A, and 100 A variants — the fuse link itself determines the actual protection level. Rated operational voltage of 690 V AC covers 400/415 V three-phase networks with headroom. The IEC EN 60947-3 standard certifies it as a switch-disconnector, meaning it can make, carry, and break currents under normal service conditions and provide isolation (visible break when the fuse carrier is withdrawn).
