The Schneider Electric A9K23420 is a 4-pole Acti9 iK60N miniature circuit-breaker rated 20 A at 30 °C, curve B, with a 6 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC (EN/IEC 60898-1). It is a thermal-magnetic trip unit — the thermal bimetal handles overloads, the solenoid clears short-circuits within 3 to 5 times In.

The 4-pole body takes 8 x 9 mm pitches — 72 mm wide, 85 mm tall, 78.5 mm deep. Tunnel terminals accept 1...25 mm² rigid or 1...16 mm² flexible on top or bottom; strip 14 mm and torque to 2 N·m. IP20 finger-safe terminals suit enclosed distribution boards — not outdoor or washdown zones. The toggle gives local ON/OFF indication; a padlocking device locks the handle in the OFF position for LOTO procedures.
