The Schneider Electric A9KF71302BQ is a 3-pole miniature circuit-breaker from the Acti9 K60 range, rated 2 A with a C-curve trip characteristic (magnetic trip between 5 and 10 times In). It breaks 10 kA at 415 V AC, 50/60 Hz, certified to EN/IEC 60898-1 for branch-circuit protection in distribution boards.
The 2 A rating protects a small-load branch — think control transformers, signal-conditioner supplies, or lighting circuits drawing under 2 A continuous. The C curve (5–10× In) means the magnetic trip holds through moderate inrush, so it suits mixed resistive and lightly inductive loads without nuisance tripping on startup. Thermal-magnetic trip technology uses a bimetal strip for overload protection (the thermal element) and a solenoid for short-circuit protection (the magnetic element). The 2 A thermal element responds to sustained overcurrents; the magnetic element clears fast on high faults. For a 2 A branch, that matters most when the fault current is high relative to the wire rating.
