The Schneider Electric A9KR15263 is an Acti9 ID K residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) — a 2-pole device rated 63 A continuous current with 100 mA earth-leakage sensitivity, Type AC, for 220-240 V AC 50 Hz networks.
63 A rated current (In) means it handles the full load of a sub-distribution board or a heavy single-phase circuit — think large commercial ovens, HVAC units, or a lighting panel feeding multiple floors. The 100 mA sensitivity is less sensitive than a 30 mA RCCB; it is chosen where nuisance tripping from normal leakage (long cable runs, heating elements) would be a problem, while still providing earth-fault protection. For a 63 A RCCB this is typical; it clears a bolted ground fault up to 630 A without welding contacts or internal arcing damage. The voltage-independent tripping mechanism means the RCCB detects leakage and trips even if the line voltage drops or is lost — it does not rely on an electronic circuit. That is a reliability advantage for safety in installations where a neutral break could otherwise leave the device blind.
Mounting and wiring in the panel
Clip-on mounting on DIN rail, 36 mm wide (2-pole), 81 mm tall, 68 mm deep. Neutral on the left. Terminals accept 1-35 mm² rigid or 1-25 mm² flexible copper — biconnect top and bottom, so you can loop through or daisy-chain without extra connectors. Tightening torque 3.5 N.m. Wire strip length 14 mm. IP20 on the body, IP40 inside the modular enclosure — fine for a clean indoor distribution board, not for washdown areas.
