The A9L15584 is a Type 2 surge arrester from the Acti9 iPF range, designed for electrical distribution networks in small commercial premises. It uses MOV (metal oxide varistor) technology to clamp transient overvoltages on TN-C earthing systems. The 2-pole unit clips onto a DIN rail — standard panel integration for distribution boards. Rated operational voltage is 230 V AC (±10 %) at 50/60 Hz, with a maximum continuous operating voltage of 340 V common mode (L/PE and N/PE). The nominal discharge current (In) is 20 kA per mode, and the maximum discharge current (Imax) reaches 65 kA per mode. Total discharge current (Itotal) is 130 kA. The voltage protection level (Up) is <1.5 kV for common mode.
The arrester complies with EN 61643-11 and IEC 61643-11, carrying quality labels NF, OVE, and KEMA-KEUR. IK degree of protection is IK03 per IEC 62262.
Integration notes
Width is 36 mm, height 81.4 mm, depth 69 mm. Tunnel-type terminals accept 2.5 to 35 mm² conductors on both top and bottom. Tightening torque is 2.5 N·m.
