The Schneider Electric A9L16337 is a 2-pole Acti9 iPRC surge arrester for telecom protection, rated 0.45 A at 45 °C and 130 V AC. Response time is under 500 ns.
The 10 kA nominal discharge current (common and differential mode) tells you the surge it can safely divert per event; the 130 V AC maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc) sets the highest steady-state voltage the arrester can see without degrading. Response under 500 ns means it clamps fast enough for most telecom and signal-line transients.
Integration Notes
Screw-clamp terminals accept 0.2…4 mm² rigid or 0.2…2.5 mm² flexible wire; strip 8 mm. Torque to 0.8 N·m. IP40 from the modular enclosure, IP20 at the terminals — suitable for clean indoor panels, not washdown zones.
