The Schneider Electric A9L1F325 is a Type 1+2 surge arrester from the Acti9 iPRD1 range, designed for electrical distribution networks. The 25 kA nominal discharge current means it can safely divert repeated lightning-induced surges in a TN-C earthing system. The < 100 ns response time catches the initial steep wavefront before it propagates downstream.
Clip-on DIN rail mounting, 3 poles (3P). The housing is thermoplastic, white (RAL 9003), with dimensions 108 mm wide × 105 mm high × 86 mm deep. Power terminals accept 6–35 mm² solid/stranded cable; earthing terminal accepts 16–35 mm². Tightening torque 4.5 N·m on the power circuit. IP20 with cartridges fitted and wired; IK05 impact resistance. Remote signalling is included via a flag indicator (green/red).
