The Schneider Electric A9N16202 is an Acti9 xID residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) — a 2-pole, Type AC device rated for 25 A continuous load with 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity. It operates on a 230-240 V AC, 50 Hz network and clips onto a standard DIN rail.
The 25 A rated current (In) sizes the RCCB for a 25 A feeder — common for lighting sub-circuits, general socket groups, or small appliance loads. The 300 mA sensitivity (IΔn) is less sensitive than the 30 mA type used for personal shock protection; it is selected where the priority is fire protection and equipment leakage tolerance, such as on circuits with multiple connected loads that have inherent leakage. For those, a Type A or Type B RCCB would be required. The rated breaking and making capacity is 500 A per EN/IEC 61008-1. In a domestic or light commercial distribution board, this is adequate for the prospective fault current typically seen downstream of a 63 A or 100 A main switch.
The 2-pole device occupies 4 modules of 9 mm pitch (36 mm total width). Neutral is on the left. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1-35 mm² rigid or 1-25 mm² flexible conductors; tighten to 3.5 N·m.
