80 A B-curve MCB for distribution panels
The Schneider Electric A9N18345 is an Acti9 C120N miniature circuit breaker rated at 80 A with a B-curve trip characteristic, 2-pole configuration, and a 10 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC. Rated 80 A at 30 °C, the breaker handles continuous distribution loads up to that current. The thermal-magnetic trip unit combines a bimetal strip for overload protection and a solenoid for short-circuit response.
Breaking capacity and dual-standard certification
The A9N18345 carries dual certification to EN/IEC 60898-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2, meaning it qualifies as both a domestic MCB and an industrial circuit breaker. The Icn rating is 10 kA at 400 V AC under 60898-1; the Icu rating reaches 10 kA at 380–415 V AC and 20 kA at 220–240 V AC under 60947-2.
Width is 54 mm (6 x 9 mm pitches), height 81 mm, depth 73 mm — occupies two standard module spaces in a distribution board. Tunnel terminals accept 1 to 50 mm² rigid or 1.5 to 35 mm² flexible conductors. Neutral position is on the left.
