It provides earth-leakage protection for a 3-pole circuit at 125 A rated current, with a 1000 mA sensitivity and Type AC detection (sinusoidal AC fault currents only). The selective time delay (S-type) means it coordinates with downstream RCDs — it holds during short-duration faults so the downstream device clears first, avoiding nuisance tripping on the main incomer.
Rated 125 A at 230...415 V AC, 50/60 Hz — sized for a main incomer or large subfeed in a three-phase distribution board. The 1000 mA sensitivity is deliberately high (not for personnel protection; that is 30 mA territory). It is for equipment protection or fire prevention on circuits with high natural leakage, such as industrial heaters, large drives with EMC filters, or long cable runs. The voltage-independent tripping technology means the RCD operates even if the neutral or phase voltage is lost — the fault energy itself triggers the mechanism.
The 3P block is 171 mm wide, 95 mm tall, 73 mm deep — check the enclosure gland-plate depth; 73 mm plus the MCB depth and wiring space means a 120 mm deep enclosure is tight. Tunnel terminals accept 1...50 mm² rigid or 1...35 mm² flexible copper; strip 15 mm, torque to 3.5 N·m. The screw connection to the MCB (supplied with the block) requires access to the MCB line-side terminals — plan the busbar arrangement so the Vigi block sits directly above or below its paired breaker.
