It provides earth-leakage protection for outgoing groups or incomer positions in AC networks at 50 Hz. Rated at 125 A (In) with a 1000 mA earth-leakage sensitivity, this 4-pole unit covers 230...415 V AC operational voltage. The Type A-SI (Super Immunised) classification means it handles pulsed DC residual currents and is immune to nuisance tripping from high-frequency leakage — common in drives and UPS-fed circuits. The residual current tripping technology is voltage independent, so the device still trips on earth fault even if the supply voltage is lost. The selective time delay coordinates with downstream RCDs — the Vigi C120 holds off long enough for the closer device to clear first, keeping the rest of the board live.
