It's voltage-independent, meaning the trip mechanism doesn't rely on the line voltage to operate — a useful reliability feature if the neutral is lost upstream. The tunnel terminals accept up to 50 mm² rigid or 35 mm² flexible cable. Rated operational voltage covers 230–415 V AC 50/60 Hz, with an insulation voltage of 500 V and impulse withstand of 6 kV per IEC 60947-2. The 73 mm depth and 117 mm width mean it takes up a standard modular space on the rail — 9 mm pitches × 7, so it occupies 7 modules of DIN width. IP20 rated, so it's for inside a panel only, not washdown areas.
Designed and tested to EN 61009 and IEC/EN 61009-2-1, plus IEC 60947-2 for the impulse withstand and pollution degree 3 rating. The Type A classification covers the most common fault types in mixed-load panels.
The 125 A rated current is the continuous load it can carry — sized for a main incomer or a large subfeed in a distribution board. The 500 mA sensitivity is a deliberate choice: it's less sensitive than a 30 mA RCD, so it won't nuisance-trip on normal leakage from long cable runs or equipment filters. Use it where the goal is fire protection or equipment protection, not personal shock protection (that needs 30 mA or lower). Instantaneous trip time means no intentional delay — it reacts as soon as the fault current exceeds 500 mA. That's fine for a main switch, but if you need selectivity downstream, you'd want a time-delayed (S-type) RCD instead.
