The Type A-SI (Super Immunised) designation means this RCBO is designed to resist nuisance tripping from high-frequency leakage currents generated by modern electronic loads — switched-mode power supplies, VFDs, UPS gear — that can falsely trigger standard Type A or AC RCDs. For industrial panels with higher prospective fault current, verify the upstream device limits the let-through to within 6 kA. Thermal-magnetic trip technology covers both overload (thermal bimetal, slow response) and short-circuit (magnetic solenoid, instantaneous above 5–10 × In). The C-curve is the most common general-purpose characteristic for mixed resistive and inductive loads in distribution — it holds through motor inrush better than a B-curve, while still tripping fast enough on a hard fault.

Snaps onto standard DIN rail. The 1P+N format occupies 4 × 9 mm pitches, leaving the neutral switched and protected alongside the phase.
