What the A9N19633 Is and Why It Matters
It integrates a 13 A thermal-magnetic circuit breaker (C-curve, 5...10 x In magnetic trip) with a 30 mA residual current device, Type A-SI (Super Immunised). The Super Immunised designation means the RCD element is designed to resist nuisance tripping from high-frequency harmonics or pulsed DC waveforms common on modern electronic loads — switched-mode power supplies, variable-speed drives, and LED drivers — without compromising personnel protection. This is the key differentiator from a standard Type A RCBO.
Rated 13 A at 30 °C, this RCBO protects a single outgoing circuit — typically lighting, general-purpose sockets, or small control loads. The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity provides personnel protection (shock) and fire protection for the circuit.
