It integrates a B-curve thermal-magnetic trip for overcurrent protection and a Type AC residual-current device (30 mA sensitivity) for earth-leakage detection, all in a 4-module (36 mm) DIN-rail footprint. This is the part you spec when a distribution board needs both MCB and RCD functions in one slot, saving panel space and wiring time.
The Type AC residual-current detection handles sinusoidal AC earth faults only — not pulsed DC or smooth DC, so it is not suitable for circuits with VFDs, UPS outputs, or EV chargers that generate DC leakage. The tunnel-type terminals accept up to 16 mm² rigid or 10 mm² flexible cable — enough for a 32 A circuit on standard 4 mm² or 6 mm² copper. The toggle gives local ON/OFF indication, and the contact position indicator confirms the state even when the toggle is ambiguous.
The device location is marked as outgoer — it feeds the load, not the busbar. The 4-module width (36 mm at 9 mm pitch) means it occupies four positions on the rail; plan your busbar comb and neutral bar accordingly. The operating altitude limit of 2000 m covers most sites; above that, derate the breaking capacity.
