It protects a single outgoing circuit against overload, short-circuit, and earth faults, with the residual-current element integrated into the same compact body. Rated 40 A at 30 °C with a C-curve magnetic trip (5...10 x In), it breaks up to 6000 A at 230 V AC (Icn per EN 61009). The earth-leakage side is Type AC, 300 mA sensitivity, voltage-independent, instantaneous trip — no time delay.
Terminals are tunnel type, rated for one cable: up to 10 mm² flexible or 16 mm² rigid. The toggle gives ON/OFF indication and local signalling — no auxiliary contact built in, so if you need remote status, plan for a separate auxiliary switch module alongside it.
