The Schneider Electric A9N19753 is an Acti9 DPN Vigi RCBO — a combined miniature circuit breaker and residual-current device in a single 36 mm wide module, 1P+N poles, rated 6 A with a B curve and integrated earth-leakage protection.
The 6 A rated current (In) is the continuous load the RCBO can carry without tripping — sized for a final subcircuit like lighting or socket outlets. The B curve means magnetic tripping occurs at 3 to 5 times In (18 to 30 A), so it clears short-circuits quickly while tolerating the inrush of resistive loads. The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overloads (thermal) and short-circuits (magnetic) in one mechanism. Integrated earth-leakage protection (RCD function) saves one module width compared to a separate MCB + RCD pair — the 36 mm width is a single 4-pitch module on a 9 mm pitch DIN rail.
Mounting and wiring notes
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail, neutral on the left. Tunnel-type terminals accept 0.75 to 16 mm² rigid or 0.33 to 10 mm² flexible (with or without ferrule). The 9 mm pitch between phase and neutral matches the standard Acti9 busbar spacing — no adapters needed for horizontal distribution.
