The breaking capacity is 6 kA Icn at 230 V AC per EN/IEC 60898-1 for general-purpose branch-circuit protection, and 10 kA Icu at 230–240 V AC per IEC 60947-2 for industrial panel duty — the higher figure applies when the MCB is used as a standalone industrial device rather than a domestic final-circuit breaker. The 1P+N format switches only the phase; the neutral is a switched neutral that opens with the phase but does not carry an overcurrent trip. This is common in single-phase distribution boards where the neutral must be disconnected for isolation but does not need its own overload protection. Thermal-magnetic trip technology combines a bimetal strip for overload protection (thermal) and a solenoid for short-circuit protection (magnetic). The electrical and mechanical durability are both rated at 20,000 cycles, which is standard for this class of MCB in panel applications.
Clip-on mounting to a DIN rail, 18 mm width (2 x 9 mm pitches), 81 mm height, 78 mm depth. The tunnel-type terminals accept flexible cable up to 10 mm² or rigid up to 16 mm², with a wire stripping length of 13 mm and a tightening torque of 2 N·m. The neutral position is on the left, and the toggle control provides local ON/OFF indication. IP20 rated (finger-safe terminals), suitable for installation inside an enclosed panel.
