The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles the overload side. Breaking capacity is 4500 A Icn at 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz, conforming to EN/IEC 60898-1.
Width is 18 mm (2 x 9 mm pitches), so it occupies two modules on the rail — one for the protected pole, one for the switched neutral. Neutral position is left, which is standard for single-phase iDPN units. Tunnel-type terminals accept 0.75 to 16 mm² rigid or 0.33 to 10 mm² flexible on both upstream and downstream sides. The IP20 finger-safe protection is standard for enclosed panel mounting.
Tropicalisation is level 2 per IEC 60068-1 (damp heat, 95% RH at 55 °C). Operating altitude is 2000 m. Earth-leakage protection requires a separate block — this is not an RCBO.
Durability and service life
Both electrical and mechanical durability are rated at 20,000 cycles. That is typical for a residential-grade MCB and covers the expected life of the installation. The toggle control provides local ON/OFF indication.
