The Schneider Electric A9N26611 is an add-on residual current device from the Acti9 Vigi xC60 range — a 2-pole, 63 A, 30 mA Type AC earth-leakage block that clips onto a DIN rail alongside a compatible MCB. The 30 mA sensitivity covers basic shock protection for socket-outlet circuits and general-purpose final subcircuits; the Type AC designation means it detects sinusoidal AC residual currents only, so it is suited to circuits without non-sinusoidal or pulsating DC fault profiles. Rated operational voltage is 230…240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, with an insulation voltage of 500 V AC and impulse withstand of 6 kV.
Mounts via clip-on to DIN rail (4 x 9 mm pitches, 72 mm wide). The bottom tunnel terminals accept 1…35 mm² rigid or 1…25 mm² flexible (with or without ferrule); strip length 14 mm, tightening torque 3.5 N·m. The red indicator on the front face shows tripped status. IP20 body, IP40 inside a modular enclosure — fine for a dry indoor panel, not for washdown zones.
The voltage-independent electromechanical tripping means it does not need an external power supply to open on a fault — it steals energy from the fault current itself. Instantaneous time delay, no intentional delay for selectivity. 8/20 µs impulse withstand of 250 A. Complies with EN/IEC 61009-1 and EN/IEC 61009-2-1. Ambient operating range -5…60 °C, storage -40…85 °C.
