Breaking capacity & coordination
Rated at 10 kA Inc at 380-415 V AC (IS/IEC 60947-2), with a DC rating of 6 kA Icu at 100-125 V DC. That AC figure is typical for a 32 A MCB in a sub-distribution board backed by a larger upstream breaker — the 10 kA withstand covers the prospective fault current in most building-service panels. The DC rating is lower, so if this breaker is used in a DC circuit, the available fault current must not exceed 6 kA. The utilisation category is Category A (no intentional short-time delay), which is standard for MCBs — it trips fast on a short circuit, no selectivity with downstream devices unless they are current-limiting.
Mounting & connection
The 36 mm width (4 x 9 mm pitches) is the standard 2-module footprint for a 2-pole MCB — fits any DIN-rail enclosure. Wire strip length is 13 mm for top or bottom connection. IP20 finger-safe protection on the front face, suitable for enclosed panels only.
Environmental & isolation
Overvoltage category IV (equipment for the origin of the installation, e.g., main distribution boards). Suitability for isolation is confirmed to IS/IEC 60947-2 — the breaker provides a visible isolation gap when switched off.
