The Schneider Electric A9N2P32DGN is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker from the Acti9 xC60 range, rated 32 A with a D tripping curve. It clips onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail (4 module pitches, 36 mm wide) and fits distribution boards or subpanels where the 10 kA breaking capacity at 240 V AC (also 10 kA at 415 V AC) covers most commercial and light industrial fault levels.
The 32 A continuous rating and D-curve magnetic threshold make this a go-to for motor branch circuits and transformer primary protection where the inrush lasts several cycles. The 10 kA Icn at both 240 V and 415 V AC (per IS/IEC 60898-1) is the short-circuit capacity the breaker can safely interrupt — enough for most panelboards fed from a 200 kVA or smaller transformer. Thermal-magnetic trip technology handles overloads (thermal bimetal) and short-circuits (solenoid) in one package.
DIN-rail integration notes
Tightening torque 3.5 N·m. The toggle gives local ON/OFF indication. IP20 finger-safe terminals — fine inside an enclosed panel, not for wet locations.
