The Schneider Electric A9P44640 is an Acti9 iC40N miniature circuit breaker rated at 40 A, single-pole plus neutral (1P+N), with a B-curve trip characteristic.

Rated breaking capacity is 10 kA Icu at 230 V AC per EN/IEC 60947-2, and 6000 A Icn at 230 V AC per EN/IEC 60898-1. The B-curve trips magnetically between 3 and 5 times In (per 60898-1) or at 4 x In ±20% (per 60947-2). Complies with both EN/IEC 60898-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2, with limitation class 3 per 60898-1 and pollution degree 3 per 60947-2. Suitable for isolation per 60947-2. Carries KEMA, IMQ, and OVE quality labels. IP20 finger protection per IEC 60529; IP40 inside the modular enclosure.

Clip-on mounting on DIN rail, 2 module pitches (18 mm per pitch). Neutral on the left. Tunnel terminals accept 1 to 16 mm² rigid or 1 to 10 mm² flexible; tightening torque 2 N.m. Wire strip length 14 mm. Dimensions: 85 mm high, 18 mm wide, 74 mm deep. White housing with toggle control and ON/OFF plus trip indicator.
