The A9P52706 is a Schneider Electric Acti9 iC40 miniature circuit breaker rated 6 A with a C-curve (magnetic trip 5–10× In per EN/IEC 60898-1, 8× In ±20% per EN/IEC 60947-2). Breaking capacity is 4.5 kA Icn at 400 V AC (EN/IEC 60898-1) and 6 kA Icu at 400 V AC (EN/IEC 60947-2); the higher Icu figure applies when the breaker is used as a branch-circuit device under the industrial standard, so it safely clears faults up to 6 kA without upstream coordination failure. The 3P+N poles protect three phases and switch the neutral, common in three-phase distribution boards where the neutral is not overload-protected but is switched with the phases.
Deployment context
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail (EN 60715) — snaps into a standard 54 mm wide slot (6 × 9 mm pitches). The tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible, with a 2 N·m tightening torque and 14 mm strip length — standard for panel wiring.
Dual-rated to EN/IEC 60898-1 (domestic/commercial MCB standard) and EN/IEC 60947-2 (industrial circuit-breaker standard), which gives flexibility for either application. IMQ quality label. Earth-leakage protection requires a separate block (not integrated).
