The Schneider Electric A9P54732 is an Acti9 iC40N miniature circuit breaker rated 32 A with a C curve, 3P+N poles, and a breaking capacity of 10 kA Icu at 400 V AC (EN/IEC 60947-2) and 6 kA Icn at 400 V AC (EN/IEC 60898-1). It uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit and clips onto a DIN rail.
The C curve (magnetic trip 5–10 × In) means this breaker handles moderate inrush — typical for motor starters, small transformers, and lighting banks — without nuisance tripping on start-up. The 32 A rating suits branch circuits feeding a mix of resistive and light inductive loads up to that continuous current. The dual-standard rating (EN/IEC 60898-1 for household and similar installations, EN/IEC 60947-2 for industrial distribution) gives you flexibility: it can serve in a final sub-distribution board or in an industrial panel where the higher Icu (10 kA) matters for fault clearance coordination. The 3P+N configuration protects three phases; the neutral is switched but not protected.
