The A9P64332 is a 3-pole miniature circuit-breaker from the Schneider Acti9 iC40N family, rated 32 A with a D tripping curve. The D curve means magnetic trip occurs at 10–14 × In per EN/IEC 60898-1, or 12 × In ±20 % per EN/IEC 60947-2 — designed for loads with high inrush, like motor starters, transformers, or discharge lighting, where a B or C curve would nuisance-trip on startup. Breaking capacity is dual-rated: 10 kA Icu at 400 V AC under IEC 60947-2 (industrial standard) and 6 kA Icn at 400 V AC under IEC 60898-1 (domestic/commercial standard). Mounting is clip-on to a DIN rail, occupying 6 × 9 mm pitches (54 mm width). The thermal-magnetic trip unit gives overload protection via bimetal and short-circuit via solenoid. Separate earth-leakage protection block available as an add-on (not integrated).
Integration notes
Clip-on DIN rail mounting — snaps onto standard rail without tools. Terminals are tunnel type: 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible, with a tightening torque of 2 N.m. Wire stripping length is 14 mm for top or bottom connection. IP20 finger-safe (IP40 in modular enclosure). Padlocking device available for lockout/tagout.
