The Schneider Electric A9P64602 is an Acti9 iC40N miniature circuit breaker rated at 2 A with a D tripping curve, configured as 1P+N (single pole plus switched neutral). It breaks up to 10 kA Icu at 230 V AC per EN/IEC 60947-2, and 6 kA Icn per EN/IEC 60898-1. The D curve (magnetic trip at 10–14 × In per 60898-1, 12 × In ±20% per 60947-2) is sized for loads with high inrush, such as small motor starters, solenoid valves, or transformer primaries — the magnetic hold avoids nuisance trips on start-up while still clearing a hard short.
Clip-on mount to DIN rail, 2 modules wide (18 mm per pitch, 9 mm pitches = 2). Neutral is on the left. Tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible; strip 14 mm, tighten to 2 N·m. IP20 on the terminals, IP40 inside a modular enclosure — standard for distribution boards. The thermal-magnetic trip unit gives you a defined thermal curve for overloads and a magnetic instantaneous element for shorts.
