The A9P64740 is a 40 A miniature circuit breaker from the Schneider Electric Acti9 iC40N family, configured as 3 poles plus neutral (3P+N) with a D tripping curve. The D curve means the magnetic trip operates between 10 and 14 times the rated current (10–14 x In per EN/IEC 60898-1, and 12 x In ±20% per EN/IEC 60947-2). The 40 A continuous rating handles the steady-state draw; the D curve clears only hard faults. Breaking capacity is dual-rated: 10 kA Icu at 400 V AC per EN/IEC 60947-2, and 6 kA Icn at 400 V AC per EN/IEC 60898-1. The 6 kA Icn is the domestic/residential rating.
